Adding luxe with grasscloth wallpaper

Adding luxe with grasscloth wallpaper

Have you been watching The Block? Dee and Darren are back again this year and as much as everyone in the whole entire planet seems to dislike them….I actually love what they deliver. This year Dee has a new weapon up her sleeve – grasscloth wallpaper.

This product is something I have been drooling over for yonks now. Ever since I saw Brooke Giannetti’s Velvet and Linen blog and this beautiful dining room in my most favourite house in the whole entire world:

Classic, contemporary dining room.

I am definitely planning to use it in the dining room of our new house in a more greige colour with a metalic sheen to it like this:

Metallic grasscloth wallpaper

But with panelling like this:

Architectural molding with gray painted inset panels, black upholstered chair.

But if I can afford it (and grasscloth is very expensive stuff!), I might look at other feature areas to use it. Here’s some of my inspiration…

It just ups the anti on the luxury feeling of a room:

Arch & stairway.

How moody does this room look?!? I love it:

.

I love a good powder room with grasscloth:

Jennifer Backstein Interiors - bathrooms - Charcoal grey, white, contemporary, powder room, charcoal grey and silver grasscloth wallpaper, white marble counter top, polished nickel vanity base, polished nickel wall sconces, charcoal grey and white mosaic marble tile, gray bathrooms, charcoal gray bathrooms

Should I do my master bedroom with it too like this:

What the heck…do the whole house!! lol:

What a welcoming entry:

Very dramatic. Whites look very crisp...Navy Grasscloth Wallpaper; David Scott Interiors

It just adds so much warmth to a room:

Love the whole thing! Colors are wonderful....and so glad to see rich, warm and gorgeous brown woods...

I love the dark grasscloth coupled with the crispness of the white:Grasscloth Walls

A pop of grasscloth against the starkness of the white panelling:.

OMG I could look at grasscloth ALL-DAY-LONG!!

Have fun!
